Cool History

I was doing my regular reading of the blogs on my blog roll when I spotted this on the US Naval Institute blog. A place where WWII history buffs can go read actual Submarine Patrol Reports. I am very happy that valuable documents like this have been preserved.

My older brother was part of Operation Ivy Bells. There's a good book on it called Blind Man's Bluff that's worth a read.

He works for electric boat since he retired, something secret squirrel involving nuclear sub alterations.
