Well, one neat little bit of it anyway.  Imagine a bar room brawl with the lights out.  Naval Style.

Veteran's Day

I take a day like today and remember my time in the service and think of those I served with.  What we did, where we went, the things we saw.  All of them are some pretty amazing memories. 

I also remember those who have chosen to be in harm's way now.

Enjoy this day, honor those who no longer can and send a prayer to those still in harm's way.

It Was Good While It Lasted

243 years after it's founding, the greatest Republic in human history was murdered in it's sleep.  243 years of freedom gone with the pull of a voting lever operated by people that obviously haven't been paying attention.  People who care about nothing other than the "free" government cheese they use to feed their illegitimate children.  God forbid they go get a job and help pay for that cheese, they'd rather tax businessmen into poverty to provide it for them. They vote for people like this.

The only hope for survival now depends on a still conservative majority in the house, if they actually stand on their principals but as the old joke goes, you know a politician is lying when his/her lips are moving.

Now we wait on the next 4 years that they've given this person to see how much more destruction can be heaped upon the smouldering heap of ash that was a great nation. 

This Is Cool

Veteran's Day is coming up soon, November 11 to be exact, and I just found a list of places that are honoring Vets with some pretty cool discounts. 

One of the reasons I decided to post this was that I noticed that there are some really useful Year round discounts for Vets that are offered by some places.

Birthday Fun

Today was the big 50.

First some words of wisdom.  There is NO over the hill.  This is because there is no hill, it's a fucking cliff and there are no warning signs or guardrails.
